On May 18, the launch ceremony for Phase II of Lixing’s Ningbo Precision Intelligent Manufacturing Plant, themed “Seeing the Big in the Small, Mastering the World with Excellence,” was held with great solemnity in Fenghua, Ningbo.
Leaders including Fan Shengbing, Member of the Standing Committee of the Fenghua District CPC Committee and Head of the Organization Department, along with Song Zhiming, Vice President of the China Machinery Industry Federation; Zhou Yu, Chairman of the China Bearing Industry Association; Cai Weici, former Chief Engineer of the State Bureau of Machinery Industry and former Executive Vice President of the China Machinery Industry Federation; and… NSK, NTN, JTEKT, Minebea, Nachi-Fujikoshi, Schaeffler, SKF, Luoyang Bearing Group, Renben Group, Wuxi Huayang, Ningbo Dar, Wuzhou Xinchun, Gengda Group, Hangzhou Redic, Changzhou Guangyang, and others. Dozens of domestic and international clients, along with representatives from strategic partners, attended to witness the event.

The product range of Lixing Ningbo Phase II covers diameters. Ultra-precision rolling elements of the miniature series, ranging from 0.400 mm to 6.350 mm , can Applied to critical components such as ball screws and bearings in semiconductors, medical devices, home appliances, drones, and humanoid robots. The project has a total investment of RMB 120 million and is planned to cover a floor area of 11,600 square meters. It will be fully equipped with smart manufacturing facilities, aiming to establish a state-of-the-art precision manufacturing base.

The project leverages Lixing Group’s national-level enterprise technology center, a CNAS‑accredited laboratory, and more than 300 patented technologies to achieve breakthroughs in the large‑scale production of G3 and G5‑grade ultra‑precision rolling elements, thereby filling a domestic gap.
Shi Xianggui stated: The launch of the Jinyan Phase II project in Fenghua, Ningbo, marks a pivotal move in the Group’s industrial strategy of “miniaturization.” We will pursue a development strategy centered on “intelligence, green practices, and internationalization,” ensuring that the voice of China’s advanced manufacturing in precision rolling elements resonates on the global stage.
Fan Shengbing pointed out that the launch of Lixing Ningbo Phase II marks another significant milestone in the development of the high-end manufacturing sector in Fenghua District. The District Party Committee and District Government will continue to optimize the business environment and provide full support to help Lixing take root in Fenghua and lead innovation.
Song Zhiming stated that Lixing’s breakthroughs in the ultra-precision rolling-element field have provided strong support for upgrading fundamental components in the machinery industry.
Zhou Yu emphasized that, as a leading enterprise in China’s rolling-element industry, Lixing Group’s continued deep cultivation in the high-end precision manufacturing sector will inject strong momentum into the industry’s high-quality development.
Cai Weici stated: Lixing has achieved breakthroughs in the field of ultra-precision rolling elements. Large-scale production at G3 and G5 levels , breaking the long-standing bottleneck of reliance on imports and setting an important example for enhancing China’s capacity to independently ensure the supply of high-end equipment.

Lixing Jinyan Steel Balls (Ningbo) Co., Ltd. occupies a site of 53,000 square meters and specializes in the manufacturing, R&D, and sales of precision steel balls for miniature and small bearings, with its products exported to high-end markets in Japan, Europe, and North America. With the commissioning of this Phase II project, Lixing Group will complete its transformation—from “mid‑range scale expansion” to “high‑end quality leadership”—and establish itself as a globally leading brand in rolling element technology.
