On November 6, the “8th Jiangsu-Zhejiang Regional Bearing Entrepreneur Development Seminar 2025,” jointly hosted by the Jiangsu Province Bearing Industry Association and the Zhejiang Province Bearing Industry Association and organized by Lixing Group, was successfully held at the headquarters of Lixing Group in Rugao, Jiangsu Province.

Leaders including Zhou Yu, Chairman of the China Bearing Industry Association; Sun Xiao, Executive Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the Jiangsu Bearing Industry Association; Zhang Yajun, Secretary-General of the Zhejiang Bearing Industry Association; and Shi Xianggui, Chairman of Lixing Group, jointly attended the event.

The conference brought together representatives from more than 40 bearing enterprises in the Jiangsu and Zhejiang regions, engaging in in-depth discussions on topics such as domestic and international industry development trends, regional collaboration, and enterprise management.

As important hubs of China’s bearing industry, Jiangsu and Zhejiang have long maintained a close cooperative relationship. This year, the two regions jointly hosted a series of events, including the 4th Wuxi Taihu Bearing Industry Conference, an exhibition of bearings and specialized equipment, and a technical seminar on bearing product quality. They have also worked closely together to address international challenges such as India’s order for stricter bearing quality controls.

In his speech, Shi Xianggui, Chairman of Lixing Group, stated: After more than three decades of relentless efforts, Lixing Group has established a unique and hard-to-replicate competitive edge in the rolling element sector—from technological R&D and product iteration to achieving cost leadership.

Today, in the face of challenges posed by the complex global trade landscape, we should even more so focus on breakthroughs in our core technologies, uphold stringent quality control, and vigorously promote collaborative innovation across the industrial chain.

In his speech, Sun Xiao, Executive Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the Jiangsu Bearing Industry Association, pointed out that Jiangsu’s bearing industry is accelerating its transition from scale expansion to quality and efficiency. He called on enterprises in Jiangsu and Zhejiang to deepen cooperation in areas such as tackling key technologies and advancing standardization, thereby jointly building a more resilient regional supply chain.

Qu Man, Deputy Secretary-General of the Zhejiang Bearing Industry Association, shared the practical achievements of Zhejiang’s bearing enterprises in focusing on “specialization, refinement, uniqueness, and innovation” development. He believes that the regions of Jiangsu and Zhejiang should further leverage their complementary advantages and work together to expand export markets and co-build brands.

In his industry outlook report, Zhou Yu, Chairman of the China Bearing Industry Association, analyzed that the bearing industry is currently facing multiple challenges, including fluctuations in the international trade environment and rising costs of raw materials. However, there remains significant room for growth in areas such as high-end equipment and green energy. He recommended that companies accelerate their transition to low-carbon processes and digitalization, leveraging a dual-drive approach of “technology plus market” to forge a new development paradigm.

During the exchange, representatives from numerous enterprises shared their practical experiences in areas such as lean production, talent development pipeline building, and supply chain collaboration. They unanimously agreed that refined management and the establishment of innovative mechanisms are crucial supports for enhancing enterprise resilience.

This event provided Jiangsu and Zhejiang bearing enterprises with a platform for in-depth dialogue. Through exchanges and consensus-building, the participating representatives further clarified the development direction of collaborative innovation and improving quality and efficiency.
