Deeply Rooted in Nanyang—Xinli Xing Rolls Across Central China
On March 14, 2025, Li Xia, Deputy Secretary of the Fangcheng County Party Committee and County Mayor; Zhao Guochen, Member of the County Party Committee Standing Committee and Executive Deputy County Mayor; Li Zhengguang, Member of the County Government Party Leadership Group, Secretary of the Development Zone Party Working Committee, and Director of the Management Committee; Dong Yukun, Vice Chairman of the County Political Consultative Conference; and key officials from the County Government Office, the Development Zone Management Committee, the Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, the Bureau of Science and Technology, and Guang'an Subdistrict visited and conducted a research tour at Lixing Group’s Nanyang factory. Both sides engaged in an in-depth exchange on topics including high-quality enterprise development, industrial transformation, and digital upgrading. As an important strategic base for Lixing Group’s deployment in the Central Plains region, the new Nanyang factory, since its completion at the end of last year, has consistently upheld its core positioning of “deepening intelligent manufacturing and serving northern China,” continuously unleashing strong growth momentum.
New factory established: Connecting the north-south supply arteries.
Since the completion of the new Nanyang plant, it has smoothly and systematically passed quality assessments conducted by several leading automotive customers in the industry as planned, and has now achieved stable mass production. Currently, the driveline shaft products are simultaneously supplied to the European and North American automotive markets. Moreover, a rapid-response mechanism and a safety-stock system have been established in the Central China region, enabling a dual-track approach of “local production + global delivery.” The new equipment for wheel hub rolling elements has been installed and is currently in the critical commissioning phase. On-the-job training for new employees is underway. The goal is to start small-batch trial production in the second quarter of this year and achieve full-scale mass production in the third quarter. Once the wheel hub production line reaches full capacity, it will enable localized supply of high-end wheels in the northern region.
Technological Breakthrough: Seizing the First-Mover Advantage in the New Energy Race
In the face of the automotive industry’s shift from internal combustion engines to electric vehicles, the Nanyang plant has taken the lead in promoting an upgrade of its product structure. The plant has achieved breakthroughs in key technological areas such as lightweighting of drive shafts and integration of wheel hub bearing units. At the same time, it is developing a new ceramic ball manufacturing process to enhance the high-temperature resistance and corrosion resistance of components for new-energy vehicles.
Building a Talent Foundation: Forging the Iron Army of Central China’s Intelligent Manufacturing
Leveraging the university resources in Zhengzhou, Luoyang, Nanyang, and other regions, the Lixing Nanyang Base has launched the “Xingya Plan,” specifically recruiting recent graduates majoring in mechanical automation, materials engineering, and related fields. Through a “dual-mentorship” training model, the base is strengthening its talent pipeline and building a core team of professionals to support the second-phase project slated for 2028.
Rooted in the Central Plains: Building a Benchmark for the Entire Value Chain
The Nanyang base of Lixing has established a closed-loop, full-industry-chain system for rolling elements by vertically integrating core processes such as precision forging, heat treatment, and precision grinding and inspection. In the future, we will continue to deepen our localized operations, leveraging a dual-engine approach—combining a “24-hour response mechanism with customized R&D”—to provide Northern automotive customers with more agile and reliable smart manufacturing solutions.
Rooted in the Central Plains, we’re shaping the future through intelligent manufacturing. The Lixing Nanyang base will continue to drive industrial upgrading with technological innovation, creating greater value for our hub and driveshaft customers.
